School District or Business to provide
• Person to record meetings and agreements
• Arrangements for all meetings & invitations to stakeholders
• Access to office machines, copiers etc.

Steps

1. Involve the Main Stakeholders, Superintendent/Administrators & Business Leaders
• Discussion of the SBP concept
• Keys to forming a partnership program
• Who is responsible for implementation
• Informal vs Formal programs
• Financial consideration

2. Lay the groundwork
• The education community & expectations
• The business community & expectations
• Mutually identify areas that can be collaboratively worked on

3. As time allows, development of some key components
• Needs of schools
• Needs of businesses
• The Memorandum of Agreement
• Evaluation of the program

On Site time to introduce SBP would be two days
Pre work, one day off site
Post work, one day off site
Follow up / check in to see if further assistance is needed

• provide SBP handbook for key people
• guarantee of one week turn around for completed written summarization
